I have a long term health condition that I wasnt getting support with from Elmwood, I have friends who have the same condition and they had told me how supported they felt at Buxton medical practice so I changed surgery. I have not regretted my decision I was re assessed, referred to Macclesfield hospital and my meds given an overhaul. Prior to this I was very depressed and in a lot of pain, 12 months on the right treatment plan and continued support from Dr Phillip's I feel so much happier and healthier, I have my life back. I would recommend this surgery, the Drs genuinely care and you don't get the 3td degree from the receptionist when you ring to book an appointment.

The reception staff were all polite,helpful and efficient.I appreciate the doctors are busy, but I have always been able to get an appointment in a timely fashion. I like the fact I can get “an early bird” appointment on a Friday which means I don’t have to miss work for a routine appointment. I believe I could also access a late night appointment too, but yet have not needed too. In my consultation the Gp asked if I was happy to receive my results about this particular consultation by a telephone consultation, which again was useful for me. I can not fault the service that I have received since I have been registered here and would certainly recommend the surgery to others.

I would like to thank Dr Phillips and the practice nurse for once again putting my mind to rest. The last few years have not been easy for me, but with the help and support of the Doctors, nurses and staff I have managed to work through my health issues with them and I thank- you all for your continued help and support. PS: Don't take this the wrong way but I do hope I don't need your help again for some considerable time!! (If and when I do, I know where to find you and that you will be there again for me)

My experience of professional care and consideration which I receive from Buxton Medical Centre is something I value. I have confidence that I will see a Doctor urgently if my condition requires it and in the treatment I receive.
